Sharing little ones...

Blessed with Babies!

I met Jenny years ago on as we worked out side by side at the rec center in Cedar Falls. Being the chatty Kathy that I can be I had asked how long she had been married, did she have kids, etc. Jenny told me that her and her husband were not able to have kids. It was one of those moments where I had to count my blessings...I forget that not everyone can just pop out a kid no matter how badly they may want it!

Sometime this summer, the phone rang at the studio and I actually answered it (that doesn't happen often) and Jenny was scheduling a session for Gabe. I was so excited! They had decided to adopt only a few months prior to receiving him. What a wonderful whirlwind of excitement they must have experienced!

Other photos posted here are of Jenny, Gabe and his birth mother as well as Jenny with her Sister and Dominic (Gabe's cousin) who is also a little miracle. I just had to share this little warm fuzzy and remind you to count your blessings!

An Iowa shoot for sure. . .

Meet the Weber family. I know I sound like a tape recorder. . I had so much fun! The children were beautiful and the scenery was amazing. Grandma and Grandpa were naturals in front of the camera. You should have seen the look on Grandma's face when I photographed the laundry. . he he he. . .

Hit the dusty trails. . .

This was too much fun! This family enjoys biking the trails of Cedar Falls so that seemed like a fitting place for their photo shoot! It was a hot day (one of the few this summer) but looking at the images you can't tell they were melting can you?

Somewhere over the Rainbow. . .

Hi All!----Long time no Blog! These sweet girls have been coming to Cooper for awhile. I'm so glad we got to get a beach session in for them. It was a beautiful day AND we even caught a rainbow! My first ever during a session. So cool! Enjoy!

Families in the summertime!

I can't believe how many families I have had come in early in the summer this year. It should be fun to have some Christmas card designs with beach, flowers and green this year! =-)
