Every great once in awhile I get someone that has some crazy ideas! Here is one example. . . the Sloppy Joe Queen!
My friend brought her niece in last weekend for photos. Mostly it was Laila's one year session but of few with sister are permitted of course! =-)

Virgie brought her two daughters Courtney and Ashley in for photos earlier this week. Courtney is home from California for Ashley's wedding this upcoming weekend! Mother/daughter pictures are always a blast!
For the last couple of years I have gone and talked to the kids at Hansen Elementary about being a photographer. They always ask such great questions and I absolutely LOVE their thank you notes and have to share some with you . . .
"Thank you for coming to our classroom and teaching us about photography. The most interesting thing was that you take 1,000 photos for a wedding. This will really help me in the future. Thank you again."
"...I really like the job of being a photographer. I think that I want to love a job as a photographer."
" ...The most interesting part was when you told us that you were the only photographer. That really surprised me. How would you do it? I think this would be a great job that I would really enjoy in the future. Thank you very much."
"...I learned that there are many fields of photography that you could be in. I thought your jewelry and purses were very cool. Thanks again."
"...I am going to think about becoming a photography person."
The last one was my favorite. Thank You Hansen kids! I love visiting you!
Yippee. . .I am so excited to photograph Keeley and Nate's wedding. Years ago I took Keeley's graduation photos. I thought I recognized Nate when he came in with her and I had forgotten that they were high school sweethearts. . . junior high to be exact. . wow.
Alice was here for a session last week. I was so excited to photograph her with her horse Zoro. He had to eat a few extra helpings of grass as we went!
So the funny story with this session is we had been planning to do pictures in this great field of flowers that I know of. "Plan A" was ruined due to flooding. So we came up with "Plan B"a different field that has beautiful purple flowers. Apparently they only show their pretty faces the morning! Are you kidding me?! Anyway the whole session still turned out awesome despite the fact that the flowers didn't want to play with us!
